2014 Willow Bridge G1-10 Chardonnay

Matured on lees for 10 months in French oak barrels of which 25% were new. Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Citrus and nectarine like aromas are overlaid by biscuity oak and cashew with nougat and spice nuances also apparent. Medium bodied with good up front freshness and a creamy finish, flavours of nectarine and citrus are laced with cashew, biscuity nougat and spice. Clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of nectarine, cashew, biscuity nougat and spice.

Glides effortlessly across the palate. It's complex but it demands nothing of the drinker. Pear, apple, cashew and grapefruit. Succulent midsection and a long, fleshy finish.
